Product Introduction
Boots is also called bellows, these are the protective rubber (synthetic or natural) or hard plastic (usually Hytrel) covers that surround CV joints.
CV boots perform two key functions:
1. CV boots keep moisture, sand, dirt, and other debris particles sealed out, preventing contamination of the internal parts of the CV joint.
2. CV boots also keep lubrication sealed in with the CV joint, ensuring optimal part life.
Old boots should never be reused when servicing a joint. Always install new boots.
The quality of rubber boots used in our products is strictly examined. They have to pass several tests so as to ensure the endurability. They can keep elastic under -38 degrees centigrade and also airproof, and also ensure no crack under 90 degrees centigrade. Still, they can resist corrosion from the grease contained.
